How Your Monthly Marketing Start Date and Billing Work
During onboarding, each client completes a payment authorization form and selects the month and year their monthly marketing billing will begin.
At the time you selected your monthly marketing start date, the form included the following terms:
“Your monthly marketing services will commence on the first of your chosen month. Monthly marketing services are not dependent on the website launch date.Please indicate the month and year you'd like us to start your monthly marketing services. Keep in mind that once established, this start date cannot be delayed, although you may request to start services sooner with a two-week notice. All monthly service fees are billed on the first of each month.”
By submitting the authorization form and selecting your start month, you acknowledged and agreed that:
Monthly marketing fees begin on the first day of the month selected or on the onboarding date, whichever is sooner.
Your selected billing month is not dependent on your website launch date.
Once the selected start month has been established, it cannot be delayed.
Monthly marketing fees are billed on the first of each month.
Marketing work associated with that service month may be completed at any point. If you delay the approval or launch of your Google Ads beyond the selected starting month, there is no refund in management fees. Google ads usually take 1-2 weeks to build and get approval by the client for launch. If you want your ads to be live ASAP, then choose this month as your starting month when onboarding, or next month if you're already past the mid-month mark.
What If I Onboard After the First of the Month?
If you onboard after the first day of the month but select that same month as your marketing start month, your monthly fee still applies to that selected month.
For example, if you onboard on September 4 and select September 2026 as your monthly marketing start month:
Your September monthly marketing fee is effective September 1.
Your advertising campaigns may go live at any point during September or beyond once setup, access, approvals, and campaign preparation are complete.
SEO work allocated to your September service month will be completed for September, including work completed retroactively for tasks awaiting website launch or access.
The September 1 date establishes the billing and service start month. It does not mean that every marketing task or campaign must be performed or launched at that time.
Your Website Launch Date Is Separate
Your website development or launch timeline does not change your selected monthly marketing billing date.
Marketing services and website development operate on separate timelines. Your selected monthly billing month remains in effect regardless of when your new website launches.
