Cookie Consent and Privacy Notices

Identity Dental Marketing configures cookie consent settings based on the services a practice receives and the tracking tools used on its website.

Practices Running Google or Meta Ads

For clients running Google or Meta advertising through Identity, we enable the appropriate cookie consent and opt-in settings to support applicable privacy requirements and consent-based retargeting. These settings are part of the website’s privacy setup; they do not replace a practice’s privacy notice or legal review.

Practices Receiving SEO, AEO, or Website Management Only

For US dental websites receiving only SEO, AEO, or website management, Identity does not enable a GDPR-style opt-in cookie popup by default when analytics is limited to basic website traffic measurement and no advertising or retargeting is configured.

US law generally does not require prior opt-in consent solely for basic website analytics. Additional disclosures, opt-outs, or consent controls may be necessary depending on applicable state laws, the practice’s circumstances, and the information collected.

Your Practice’s Privacy Notice

Clients are encouraged to work with their legal counsel to provide a custom privacy notice page for their website. The notice should reflect the practice’s actual data collection, website tools, and privacy obligations.

Clients may also request assistance with a privacy notice page from Identity Dental Marketing. Legal counsel should review the notice to confirm that it meets the practice’s specific requirements.

If your practice adds advertising, retargeting, or other tracking tools, please notify Identity so we can review and update the website’s consent settings as needed.
